Kente Canines Sizing Guide

We want your dog’s accessories to not only look great but fit comfortably, securely, and confidently in their everyday movement. Our harnesses are built for style and function but the right size makes all the difference.

Before you order, we recommend measuring your dog to ensure the perfect fit the first time. As a reminder we have a 7 day return policy and we do not offer exchanges.

How to Measure Your Dog

Use a soft measuring tape and take two key measurements:

1. Chest: Measure around the widest part of your dog’s chest, about 1” to 2” right behind the front legs.

2. Neck: Measure around the base of the neck where a collar would naturally sit (not the very top near the ears).

Make sure your tape is snug, but not tight. You should be able to fit about two fingers under the measuring tape.

Write down both measurements and compare them to our size chart before selecting your size.

Fit Tips

  • If your dog is between sizes, size up for the best comfort.
  • For fluffy dogs, or dogs with thicker coats, add a little extra room in the measurement.
  • A properly fitted harness allows easy movement without gaping, rubbing, or shifting side-to-side.
  • Take new measurements regularly if you have a puppy or young dog because their size can change quickly.
